Recovery changes lives. So does having a safe place to call home.
This September, during National Recovery Month, The Peer Company invites you to step beyond what you thought was possible by rappelling down a downtown Portland building to support something even bigger than the 15-story climb.
Recovery Rush is more than an adrenaline-filled challenge—it’s an opportunity to help families rebuild their lives.
Why It Matters
Housing creates stability.
Peer support creates possibility.
Families facing mental health challenges, substance use recovery, and housing instability deserve more than four walls—they deserve a community that believes in them.
Our Permanent Supportive Housing community will provide affordable homes where families can heal together while receiving on-going peer support from specialists who understand recovery because they’ve lived it themselves.
Your fundraising ensure these families don’t just receive housing—they receive a true welcome home.

This September, participants will rappel down Hyatt Centric Downtown Portland building in support of mental health and addiction recovery programs through The Peer Company. Just as recovery asks people to take brave steps into the unknown, rappelling asks us to trust ourselves, trust others, and go beyond what you thought was possible.
