PEERPOCALYPSE COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS

Do I need to be vaccinated to attend? : 

Peerpocalypse/MHAAO will not require attendees or personnel to be fully vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus prior to their attendance. Please understand that there is risk involved when attending any in-person event, including Peerpocalypse.

We ask that attendees, staff, or exhibitors stay home if they have tested positive for COVID-19, are waiting for COVID-19 test results, have COVID-19 symptoms, or if they have been in close contact with a person who has tested positive or exhibits symptoms of the virus. In-person attendees will have access to attend workshops virtually through the WHOVA app. Please stay home and attend the conference virtually if you are not feeling well.

General safety and wellness measures include but are not limited to:

  • Hand sanitizing stations

  • Disposable masks will be provided 

  • Red/Yellow/Green stickers (explained below) to alert other attendees on personal comfort level with social distancing

RED/YELLOW/GREEN BUTTONS

Though we encourage social distancing, we understand that for many of us, human connection is necessary. We’d like to honor choice by providing the opportunity for participants to pick a color to indicate our individual comfort levels with social distancing: 

RED: Please maintain social distancing.

YELLOW: Let’s bump elbows!

GREEN: I haven’t seen you in ages! HUGS!!

 


PARTNER HOTELS

COVID-19 policies for hotels is up to the discretion of the hotel itself. Please check your hotel’s website for more information.

VIRTUAL ENVIRONMENT

All attendees, including those registered for the in-person conference, will have access to the virtual environment. The link for the virtual environment will be emailed closer to the conference date. The recordings of these sessions will be available within a month following Peerpocalypse.
