Refund Policy: All cancellations must be received in writing to sbriscoe@mhaoforegon.org. If cancellation is requested before a training commences, you will receive a full refund minus a $100 administration processing fee. Once a training begins, no refund will be given unless negotiated with Sunny Briscoe, Operations Director. 


PEER WELLNESS SPECIALIST TRAINING

Mental Health Association of Oregon is pleased to announce its Oregon Health Authority approved Peer Wellness Specialist Training! What is the Peer Wellness Specialist Training? 

 

 

 

This 80 hour intensive training. For questions regarding our next training, please call 503.922.2377.

 

Topics will include:

· Introduction to Peer Wellness,

· Trauma Informed Approach to Peer Support,

· Person Directed Planning and Collaboration,

· Problem Solving and Adult learning,

· And many more.

 

We have two upcoming classes: 

 

Open to Washington County Residents only: 

The class will be held from January 22nd - 26th, January 30th, February 6th, 13th, 20th, and 27th. Class is held from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. This training is specifically designed to encompass whole health certification to Peer Wellness Specialists upon completion. There is no cost to the student if they are a resident of Washington County.

 

Open to all counties: 

The class will be held from February 12th, February 15th - 18th, and February 22nd - 26th. Class is held from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. This training is specifically designed to encompass whole health certification to Peer Wellness Specialists upon completion. The cost of this course is $750.
