Refund Policy: All cancellations must be received in writing to sbriscoe@mhaoforegon.org. If cancellation is requested before a training commences, you will receive a full refund minus a $100 administration processing fee. Once a training begins, no refund will be given unless negotiated with Sunny Briscoe, Chief of Staff. 


PEERZone Workshop Facilitator TRAINING

PeerZone is a series of peer-led workshops for people with lived experience of mental distress and addiction. 

PeerZone offers a 4-day training for peer workers to become licensed facilitators, who then facilitate PeerZone workshops as a billable service and part of their employment.

Post-training support includes monthly group video conferences, advice on-demand, analysis and feedback of workshop evaluations, improvements to workshops and access to our mobile friendly website. 

Facilitators also gain access to our online toolkit with 52 new workshops filled with resources for use 1:1 and in shorter groups.

March 18-21, 2019

We’re offering the PeerZone facilitator course, support service, and a two-year license fee for $1,500 per facilitator. The training will take place in Portland, OR at a location to be determined.

PEER WELLNESS SPECIALIST TRAINING

Mental Health Association of Oregon is pleased to announce its Oregon Health Authority approved Peer Wellness Specialist Training! What is the Peer Wellness Specialist Training? 

This 80 hour intensive training. For questions regarding our next training, please call 503.922.2377.

  • Introduction to Peer Wellness,

  • Trauma Informed Approach to Peer Support,

  • Person Directed Planning and Collaboration,

  • Problem Solving and Adult learning,

  • And many more.

This training is specifically designed to encompass whole health certification to Peer Wellness Specialists upon completion. This program has been approved to train Adults to Adults in Mental Health Support and Adults to Adults Addiction Support.The cost of this course is $750.
