We also provide Peer Support Specialist Certification Trainings, Peer Recovery Networks, Financial Self-Sufficiency, Healthcare Reform Peer Leadership, and EVOLVE, our new Peer Delivered Services.

Peerlink is a SAMHSA-funded national technical assistance program that offers support and technical assistance to promote peer involvement in the mental health system and continuing success with peer groups and organizations. Mental Health Association of Oregon is now offering training to individuals with lived experience with mental and behavioral health challenges who would like to provide supports and mentoring to youth and young adults who are also experiencing these challenges . Individuals who successfully complete the training program, which includes 20 hours of service learning, will be certified as Peer Support Specialists in the state of Oregon. The training program will focus on the unique issues and challenges faced by youth and young adults at a very critical time in their lives—which often sets the stage for their futures. Our curriculum promotes respect, cultural competency, and self-advocacy.
